It’s wire free so no messy wires.

The system is GSM which means it has a dialler like a mobile phone with a SIM card in it so cutting the phone line in your home would have no effect on the alarm. The alarm uses a ready to go SIM and should use no more than €20 a year for monitoring.

If someone breaks into your home the alarm will ring sirens inside and outside and within seconds texts and calls up to 8 mobile phones. The text message gives the name and address of the home and a message stating what beam has been detected, e.g. “beam in sitting room”. If the intruder walks around your home you then get several messages stating “beam in hallway”, “beam in kitchen”, etc.

If you leave your home and forgot to switch on your alarm you can send a simple text message to switch it on and it confirms it’s on by sending a text back to your phone.

Extras available for this alarm include:

• A listen in device to your home. If your alarm is going off you can dial into your alarm, which then turns on a high-powered microphone in the home so you can listen in – The system turns the sirens off during this application.
• You can turn on lights, or even turn on your electric blanket with a simple text.
• Key fobs for easy on/off and panic alarm functions.
• Device available that we wire to the headlights in your car, and with a flash of your headlights you can open your electric gates, turn on lights on your porch or driveway, etc.
• A Beam with built in camera. If an intruder enters a room with this beam in it the unit takes 2 photos, 1 high resolution which it stores in the panel, the other a low resolution which it quickly sends to your mobile phone.
